Analyzing the profile of the manager from the perspective of the employees: a case study

Goal: This paper proposes to study the leader's profile using Johari Window establish feedback on behavior in comparison with employees' point of view.
 Design / Methodology Approach: The case was carried out a given material distribution center for civil construction through questionnaire, based window model. research classified as applied, exploratory, qualitative and study.
 Results: Most respondents surveyed sector have opinion that their leader is inserted “blind” area window, is, it an unknown leader, either because subordinates do not want share or able does care about it. Through these results, improvements were proposed.
 Limitations investigation: questionnaire only applied one moment, possible compare posterior view each team member.
 Practical implications: When leaders way thinking acting are willing receive feedback, there will be greater clarity communication executing objectives. With this, obtain more qualified motivated personnel performance organization's activities, reducing costs, increasing productivity, generating competitive advantage.
